LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had it to do all over again, I would definately skim coat it with fairing compound. Will save a lot of time sanding. Have fun!

Now I find out that 1/4 & biax inside & out is the way to go. Oh well. Still, I am gald I don't have to galss the inside. I am using 3/8 ply for the hull and decided that I would rather have it a little heavier and make it stronger by glassing the whole exterior of the hull. Jacques, I am starting to install the bulheads and have a question about the fillets and tape. The plans have good sections of the boat and show the taped seams along the bottom (on each side of the joint). I was wondering if the seams are taped along the bottom only or go all the way up the sides. ...

Bottom Sag

That happened to me also and I used 3/8 plywood. I marked some holes in the sides and supoorted the bottom while filling the chine and it worked fine. The keel looks good.

sealing the fairing mix

The microballons need to be sealed with a coat of resin after sanding. The is another post that explains this in a little more detail. I was not able to located the post but read it a few days ago.
