I would say you will definitely want tabs. They help correct asymetric loading as well hold the bow down if you want. Great for high speed trolling as well. I think Jaques calls for planking to start at the keel and work up? It would make it easier to run a the foam wild past the chine and then just...

Mike, Looking at the plans the 2-3/4" is a reference dimension only and it shows only were the DWL intersects the keel line in reference to Station 0 (0+ on the offset drawings) 2-3/4" has no bearing on how you set the stations as far as I can tell. It would come into play if you build a mold (paral...

I would not go larger than 50 but that should be fine. I have a 45 on mine and it does great. It is light enough though that you do feel the effects of engine torque.

LB26 FRAME STATIONS

Jaques - Reviewing the plans it looks to me as though the station numbering on the details does not match that on the plans? Example, it looks like frame 0 in the book should be 0-, frame 0+ should be 0 ? Am I mis-reading something? Thanks,Jim

I would temper the expectaion a bit more than the other builders did. The boat is stable and a great design. It has met all my expectations but it does roll from side to side quickly with change in load location. Mine weighs about 500lbs without the motor and I weigh 220lbs. That being said the phys...

57" for the first 6' forward of the transom. That is based on the frame dimensions.

I just finished a OB15 and I am very impressed with how it handles a chop and overall performance. I have a 45 hp Mariner on it and it pushes it nicely. I have not put a GPS on board but I think it is running at about 30 mph. I am going to take it for a run tonight and I will get some figures for yo...
