OK, well if I can explain #2 better I think you can easily answer and I get off this stringer thing :) Here it is. The stringer is composed of two parts, the "inside" stringer and the "outside" stringer glued together. It's very clear in the plans and notes. Now, the planes show where to cut the slo...

OK, Jacques, that's my original idea for the fix. In fact, I've already cut the little inch or so piece of plywood to fit you mention. I wanted to be sure the clamping board measurement was right before I went to gluing everything up. And sure, I see that structurally it's a non issue so long as the...

Hey MadRus great work! That's just how I see it. To me the question is what is the required height above the BL for the clamping boards, 15" or 15/3/4"? Once I have that figure verified I guess I'll just adjust the inside stringer notch to fit. Seem reasonable? Like you say, I'll see what Jacques sa...

I'm not familiar with the C19, but personally I'm not comfortable with rollers, for fear of hard spots. Seems like a hard spot on a roller plus a mean pot hole could put too much stress in one area. I would feel safer with bunks.

The measurement you show in your line drawing (wish I could do that) of 21.85 is close to what mine is. Mine is 21.25 on the yellow tape in the second picture. I'm not really following you completely though. The clamping board is 15 plus 4.75, or 19.75 as shown in the plans. It doesn't reach the not...

OK guys, can you see this pic? Here's the inside transom with the gap between the notch and the clamping board.

Well I know next to nothing, but my LB22 plans show just such a notching system. The plans refer to them as "slots" and they are cut in both the stringers and frames as you describe.

Madrus: my plans don't show the baseline either, but enough dimensions are there to draw it now. I took some pictures last night showing what I'm trying to describe. I'm not sure Jacques is clear on my question yet, so this weekend I'll try and post them. Spokaloo e-mailed me some tips on posting pi...
