If it does that is a good thing. Living in Tolman's back yard there are a ton of them here. They have a darn good reparation :wink:

Not sure what you guys that have etheniol in it can do. We do not have that problem so I have not had any problem with some really old gas. I have blended it 50-50 with fresh if it was really old. I have an old Merc Black Max that will eat about anything :lol:

You really need some form of tach so you know what the engine is doing. Really hard to tell what an engine is doing by ear.

Gas is a little more touchy but I have decanted a lot of diesel over the years. Not too tough to get a 99% recovery rate.
