This is where I ran into problem #1. The old...

Sintes 21 Rebuild

Well now that I am retired I was planning on laying around the house eating bon-bons all winter. SWMBO has made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that my plan is not going to fly :( So I thought now is a good time to work on other projects out in the shop. She never goes out there so I am good  ...

Re: High Tide 1503 rebuild

Hey BudMan,
I think you are going to have a heck of a time getting 17oz to lay around that tight of bends. I think I would get some 6oz cloth and use more layers to get the build up you are looking for. Wait for others to chime in as one of them might have a better idea.

Re: Steve's FS18

I envy you getting to build a boat with your grand dad. That is something most people will never get to do. He is looking really good for 87 :D
Boats coming along nicely too

Re: Build thread request

The ones that only have one or two build threads might be pretty easy. The problem will come from the boats with many build threads. One of the first things I thought about was the hope that some one whose thread is not picked might get their feathers ruffled. I would hate to see any conflict arise ...

Re: FS14/17/19/etc... foam substitution

You're gonna love the journey, and you're right. This is a great group of folks, having fun building great boats! Just had the pleasure of meeting "Fuzz" here in Florida and he's retired as of a few weeks ago. You should pick his brains a lot. Sharp man and lots of hard earned boat skills. T...
