Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

Michael, sorry to hear about your little misadventure.

I will be through Mackay about midday tomorrow (Thursday) in the Disco in no great hurry to be anywhere if you need a vehicle to do any running around.

I’ll try to ring to see what you are up to. Maybe you will need coffee if nothing else.

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

I drove past the Noosa turnoff this morning and thought, “I’ll drop in for a seafood lunch with Glossie”! Then I remembered that you are swanning around the Whitsundays with the bull sharks.

Oh well, next time!

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

It's usually crowded. Tonight it's anything but, due no doubt to two recent widely reported harrowing shark attacks on people swimming off their boats in Cid Harbour. It is indeed a beautiful part of the world, that unfortunately is widely promoted as a "water lovers playground". This quite wrong I...

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

I love the way Glossie drops lines like, “By afternoon we had dropped the pick at the wilderness anchorage of Port Clinto - like you guys know where that is! He even supplies a pic so that if you ever find yourselves there, you’ll know where you are!! Hell, I don’t know where Port Clinton is and I h...

Re: GF16 rocker. Leave, add materials, worry about fairing later?

I’m with JM - fix it now while you can. It’s not hard to do and you will regret it if you don’t.

In spite of my best effort I ended up with some hook in a similar position in my boat. I fixed it so that the bottom was perfectly true. I am glad that I did so.

"Pancake Ck"
Michael, are we talking just south of Bustard Head? Looks very sandy to me.

Nah, you've gotta be talking NW of Bustard Head!
