Re: AD 14 KIELGE

Hi, At last I can post again about my sailboat. I was busy this whole summer making 2 beds and 2 carry cots for my new grandchildren Rosa and Joseph who are 5 weeks today already and now it is time for me to turn to my sailboat again. I built a 3 metre long extension bar for the trailer for slipping...

Re: PX14 Question

Thank you Hank I appreciate your advise and if I build it I definitely will leave the hulls empty. I think I was really waiting for such an answer because I doubted my foam idea right from the start.

Adelie 14 trailer question

Hi, It takes me quite a while to dress the mast after I arrived at the lake and therefore my question. Can I trailer the boat with the mast dressed and the lines taped to it at 1 metre intervals and the ends of it stashed away in a secured bag in the cockpit ? http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userp...

PX14 Question

Hi, Do you think it is a good idea after epoxying the inside of the 2 hulls to fill them with foam before gluing on the decks so they are sealed completely and definitely unsinkable or would this add too much weight and it is overkill for such a small sailboat ? Here a picture of one of the hulls ou...

Re: Solo flats skiff 13 vs SK14

Hi, The designed weight is 85 lbs but I think even that Jeff raised my status to a Bateau builder I am not so sure if I stand up to it with the weight of my built boats. I did not weigh my FS13 but I think I am about 10 percent above the designed weight because I always put on too much fairing and e...

Re: knottyBuoyz III The TW28 Project

Hi,
Thanks for the video, I will never have to mount a tank but is is nevertheless interesting how one attaches such a tank and it seems you planned to make it so that you can exchange the tank in the future if it is needed. Build on I love to follow your build of a real ship.

Congratulations on building this beautiful boat. Unfortunately my French does not exist, so please explain what the name means, I definitely guess it has to do with fishing.

Re: FS13 doublers needed?

Hi, I have built the FS13 and found out that with my weight 120 KG it is advisable to stand on the doubler which I installed exactly according to the plan and I built SS threads sticking up in the corner of the doubler to attach the handhold. The deck is suitable to walk on when it is floating and I...
