Hahahahaha

I’m sure fisher-wives everywhere approve of their men not having bait breath when they come home from a day on the water. I know mine will.

Re: Jaysen's V12 -- 'Lil Bit' of everything fun

Getting the dagger board situation addressed to the point I can mix epoxy for both Lil Bit and Adam. And yes, I know my house needs power washed. S. O. B. tooled the previous stops used to align thing out and cleans up the excess epoxy (still hate that tool!). Sanded with 60 to a level referred to a...

Re: Adam’s FL14 repairs and other nonsense

I think the ply on the rails is failing. The paint was checked on the plies that are endgrain exposed. The plies that edge exposed are still solid. I took out about 1” past the softest sections. I put a bit of pressure on the outside of the rail and if it opened a crack with pressure I took a bit mo...

Re: Adam’s FL14 repairs and other nonsense

Then maybe consider NOT going out in rough water? I mean... sure. But what fun is that? Seriously though... the mistake was all on me. We launched from a different point and I didn’t call anyone about the sea state exiting the creek into the sound. And as you’ve also noticed, I sometimes go o...

Adam’s FL14 repairs and other nonsense

Well... if y’all didn’t figure it out Adam and I tend to hang out and get Into trouble. He bought the FL14 on my recommendation and because I told him “it’s just some wood, glass and paint... we can fix anything that happens!” After this weekend’s escapades he took me up on that. Yo understand this ...

Re: Jaysen's V12 -- 'Lil Bit' of everything fun

Well today probably needs it's own thread... Went out fishing with the FL14. Seemed glorious but we had to launch from a different location. I got to run the FL back to the normal launch. In doing so Adam's boat got into some way to big water. Nothing worse than the what I've taken Lil Bit into, but...

Re: Jaysen's V12 -- 'Lil Bit' of everything fun

That trip was setting the bait trap. Adam pulled the FL14 down and I’m taking him out shortly. The horizon trick only works for a bit with me. You’ll have to ask Fuzz how long it works as I was too busy trying to look “normal” to watch a clock. I do know that in the race boats, sundown pretty much s...

Re: Jaysen's V12 -- 'Lil Bit' of everything fun

Or it’s the fact the your version of “a little bit of slop” is 63 foot waves It’s in of the confusing things for me. I had waves on the beam, head, stern all quarters and never felt anything. The only thought I have is that it is more “occupational distraction” influences. Meaning I have to row on l...
