Re: New Free Plans .. 12' pram.. response

only because I'm a cheap bastard... I get the idea the $50 is trivial when compared to the cost of building and fully outfitting most of the designs. But if you think about it, the small boats are so economical to build "throw away" (HD/Lowes lumber with only FG tape seams) that folks with really ti...

Re: Fuel hose question

I kind of "assumed" that ICE fuel supply was ICE fuel supply. Given that most of my assumption provide the Mrs many hours of fun at my expense I figured it was wise to ask.

Thanks.

Re: Fuel hose question

Just for the curious...

Would there be any harm in going to one size up (in this case 1/2")?

Only asking as that is one of things done to reduce possible fuel starvation in off road vehicles.

Re: NEW: the Solo Skiff 13 or Flats Skiff 13, plans and kits

While I didn't buy the new ones, I think I can answer for my v12 plan purchase: 1. I prefer the BIG pictures. Constant zooming doesn't make it easy to understand stuff. 2. I can't print 11x17... most printers today only do 8.5x11. 3. I'm OLD! just like to see it in my hand. For the record, I'm an I...

Re: GV11. And so it begins...

I'm pretty sure my build, once started, will make you all feel better. I'm expecting gnats and sand in the paint. A fairing that makes a wadded up plastic bag seem smooth, and a tape job that looks like a toddler got into the toilet paper. I'm building a boat that I only expect to last 2 years so th...

Re: Veteran's Day

Those of us who never served thank you all for serving your country. Politics aside, answering the call requires fortitude that most today do not possess. Thank you for your time of service. May God bless you and yours today.

Re: FS14 In French Polynesia

You are killing me.

The build is progressing amazingly. How much time are you spending on it each day?

More importantly, how much time are you and Mrs spending staring at that water? That place looks like the thing of many a person's dreams. Many of us would get lost down there...

Re: Intercostal and estuary fishing options

Jacques, thank you for the rapid service. Package arrived intact. Now all I need to to do is make heads and tails of all the options. Should I continue with questions here or start a proper "build thread" even though build is likely to be a bit distant?

This is going to be fun.
