Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

ekranoplan The Russians made some amazing ones. It's not new. Except braking distance is an issue. I am thinking more like UFOs. Oscillating devices that can stop on a dime. For now, a boat will do. More fairing. My God I have another one to do and a cabin. This is my sheetrocker friend turned body...

Applying microballoons w/chip brush

I'm sure I'm not the only one to try this, but just in case I'm wrong... Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Nice work. 8) That is one stout looking little sailboat with all those stringers and bulkheads. It looks weird upside down, for sure not a way you want to be when sailing :D. Thanks Ruben! Yes, she's very stout. I've been saying that to myself all throughout the build. It really gives me confidence...

Looks really nice! Weather is cooling off here too. Feels so nice not to be sweating my butt off while working on the boat

Re: Classic 21 Express "Sweet Esmaralda"

Hi Daniel! Welcome to the forum and good luck with your build. It sounds like you have nice plans for your boat once she is finished. I love the name and the fact that you are naming her after your wife, who is supportive of your boat building dreams.

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Well now that the painting of the hull is done i’m back inside the cabin having more fun with microballoons . It’s a lot of work but in the end I will have a cabin I am proud of .

Here’s a couple pics

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Looks great. I really like the color. I am a bit surprised you didn't plan to hook her on a mooring. But trailering might be tons cheaper there. I have no idea what slips or moorings cost there. Thanks Fallguy! It was never my intention to have her live in the water full time at a mooring or dock, ...

Hi Bondo! Thank you!

Are you still sailing your Adelie? I found your vidoes on YouTube and have enjoyed watching them.
