Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

Nice sailing pictures. With that type of rig, how far can Tipsy point into the wind? I see your average speed was 2.7 knots. What was your top speed under sail? Did you try full sail? looks like you have a reef in your sail. Sorry for all the questions, I’m a sailing nut and always interested in sa...

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

We went sailing again yesterday. It was a beautiful day on the water with calm seas and a steady onshore westerly wind that made it easy for us to go wherever we wanted. Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach

For some reason I picture you being like this guy the first sail. In the pictures you seem more laid back. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=GEICO+Pig+Wee+Wee+Wee&ru=%2fvideos%2fsearch%3fq%3dGEICO%2bPig%2bWee%2bWee%2bWee%26FORM%3dVDMHRS&view=detail&mid=1E64CAB67BC3AA349B701E64CAB67BC3AA349B70&&F...

Hi, This is a beautiful report about your first sail on the sea. How did you record the route together with the map ? Which plotter do you have installed ? Congratulations to a beautiful finished Adelie. Greetings from Karl Thank you Karl! I have now joined the official “Adelie club”. Both are apps...
