Sounds good. I agree, this stuff is smooth, but working outside I had to sand in between coats. I used 400 for that. But I have some 220 I can use also. And yes, I will be hand sanding. There's is a 70% chance of rain this weekend so I won't be able to paint. Is the primer going to be ok in the elem...

I know i will need to sand before applying paint, but what do i sand with, wet or dry. 400 or 220 grit. start with one and end with another.

ok, primer is on. but it didn't get sprayed. it is just too windy here, and with the temps changing with every cold front that blows in i had to roll it on as i am pressed for time before the temps get too cold to paint. i am doing this outside. but man did it come out smooth. i rolled a 2x2' sectio...

i forgot i have Sunday plans so i will only get to primer Saturday. and that is still a maybe, the temps are going to be 66 for high, might be to cold. I'll check the specs

That's a reasonable expectation on the schedule. Just make sure you plan for sufficient drying time between coats, it looks like you have a good expectation in mind. Sanding can be optional, depending on how well the final primer coat goes on. I'd buzz it with 220 just to be safe. Check for rough s...

i have a quick question. how soon can i shoot the paint on this after i prime it. my rollers should be in this weekend and after the trailer is ready to accept the boat i will begin the prime and paint process. if i have Saturday an Sunday to prime and paint, can i shoot the paint that soon?
