Re: Jeffs FS14 LS

Thanks Jeff, she sure was part of the family, with us all day/everyday for 14 years straight!

The oar worked well as a prototype/practice for me to eventually make a new set of oars for my driftboat, it was a lot simpler than I had anticipated.

Re: Jeffs FS14 LS

That sweet pup a few posts back died a day or two after that trip, she was 14 and had a good number of health issues. Crazy how heartbreaking losing a pet is! We decided to rescue another a few weeks ago, this is 'Bow, as in Rainbow Trout(Last one was Brook Trout). 20200930_084317.jpg Hes about 15 w...

Really inspiring work, Alan! Are those going to be wet or dry hatches?

Re: C19 in Richmond, VA

Awesome progress, Dan, has to feel great to have another big task behind you! You just passed me again, btw; my stringers are filleted in, not glassed yet(I only have 2, not 4). My "72 hour window" is closing, hoping to glass tonight. Keep up the great work!

Well wishes for Ray, Fallguy!

I suspect that even alone you are a few times more productive than many others(ok, me) are with help.

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

Well, I started to mockup the helm riser and bench and sort of did some review and revision. The riser is 27" high with two 9" steps. It will be 14" of footwell with a recess in the bench to use as a step or footrest. The wheel is low to standing and low to sitting, but really the only way we can g...

Re: Wood grab bar

That work is clean-as, AA, nice job. Great idea to tie it directly into the frame like that, that never occurred to me. Like too many of the posts on here, this one has me thinking!

Re: FS13 'Lil Stream

BB, I've been toying with the idea of building a ply grabrail vs buying one for my FS14LS, I'll be interested to hear your final analysis when it's all done, if it's "well worth the effort" or "If I did it again, I'd just buy one" kind of thing. Looking good so far!
