Re: “The Beast”

Richard,
Use Linear Actuators, you could actually eliminate the rubber locks because the actuators would keep the lid tight , They wouldn't take up much more room than the gas shocks.
Just a thought

Re: kiwigrip getting hard in the can

I haven't had any Kiwi Grip rust, but I have had SilverTip Yacht Primer rust from the inside out. Took quite a few years but it did happen. I've had partial cans of Kiwi Grip that I've opened and closed with less than 1/8 can that I'm still using going on 10 years. I think the Primer took over 5-6 y...

Re: OD18 in Arizona..SPLASHED..

Personally, I would think you would be a fool to sell that boat for 12k. Just compare it to a Whaler Montauk cc in good condition. Those are all around 15-20k and some cosmetics even at that. I realize the cult following, but the boat you built is pretty sharp looking. Value proposition. Unless it ...

Re: Need input for selling price of OD18

Ok, so i get it, no one wants to give a value??? So I'm thinking somewhere in the $10,000.00 range?? Book value on motor is around $5000.00 and then about $5000.00 for hull and trailer? Just looking for some input to see if I'm somewhere in the ballpark??? I won't be offended if it's lower or higher...

Re: Sintes 21 Rebuild

dont know if this will help, but here are a couple of pictures of mine. I believe I did as capeman mentioned, it's been almost 10 years   Anyway you can see I got the top part looking good, but the bottom I had to file/grind the bulge off. You can't see it normally so I'm happy with it. An...
