Seriously, hope everyone rides through this okay. We've had several tornadoes in Florida over the past few days, and ...

The moonshine is actually a bit higher % than the isopropyl   Of course, all of the normal precautions. Well ventilated, wear a respirator, and no smoking, sparks o...

Beautiful boat!!! Congratulations! Sorry about the water pump issue. Assuming it has good compression, there is no reason why it won't be a serviceable engine for you after you work through the normal maintenance stuff. I would check the compression once you get the lower unit back on just to make s...

Okay here's the update. Left everything alone for several days per AA's suggestion. Went out this morning and tried to sand the QF. Most of the boat is fine, very little if any gumming of the paper, but... The forward 1/4 of the port side is still noticeably tacky to the touch, and gums the paper up...

Just remember, proper surface preparation is vital to a good finish. That is so weird that you found that picture. I left the barn door open, had a Opossom get stuck in the second coat of graphite epoxy on the bottom of my boat. Tried 60 grit, but had to use the grinder... Start painting soon Larry...

Tuturial in early December... I'll bring the beer  Or you can drive over here and we'll use my shop. That way I do...

"batten" things down best of luck down there, I hope the storm does not intensify very much. Its amazing how quickly they can spin up while passing over the FL straights
Joel, hope you are secure and keeping all that fine ply wood dry! Looks like Fay has Vero in her crosshairs.
