Richard, Make sure we get to talk a bit at CR. Sounds like we might have some fun in our waters. Anyone who wants to come over and sand is my friend!4th generation Florida myself, and some days it makes me want to hurt somebody :x . Ahh, progress... See you in a couple weeks, and don't hurt that boa...

Why not a sixer to the biggest fish, or why can't I fish? Assuming the latter, we are driving up that morning. I'm out for almost two weeks starting tomorow, get home to a Bday bash and an evening lecture Friday before CR. I'm a take all day and fish kind of guy, hate the pressure of tournaments (ev...

Been brewing serious for about a year. Did some many years ago that were horrid, but got us through organic chemistry and physics classes. Older and more patient today, and the beers are actually quite tasty. Have a great friend who's a graphic artist and exhibit designer and she designs and prints ...

Richard, AWESOME!!! You get a free BBB at CR. Posted a pic on my thread today. You may still have to come down to Lithia to help me sand, but I'll definitely honor the request after seeing the job you did. I'll have to bring my shine as well to show that Cracker from Georgia how to put hair on a che...

Okay. Made a decision on my time and decided Maria deserved better. The last time I refinished her (she's 8 yrs old and has worked hard for me), I skipped sanding in between varnish coats and did not like it at all. With all the patching, I'm going to refinish this boat first before freeing up the s...

Went back through all the OD 18 pics I could find and see lots of gunnels with small supports, or supports that taper with no horizontal attachment at deck. Check out Family man's. A combination of both, and some of the prettiest gunwales I've seen. Plenty of time before I have to decide  , but...

You are now at one of the places that makes me pounder the most on the designs. You guys can call me crazy (been done before! ), but here's my thoughts. If you want to mount rods along the sides, having the full length supports going down to the sole makes sense, but if you don't have a functi...

She's lookin sharp! That is going to be a VERY serious looking boat when all rigged, with lots of space for two behind the console.

Like the drain hole placements for all the reasons stated. That's a smart dog you have.
