From your pictures the boat looks good!
"that it isn't just an ordinary sort of boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes it's more of an Accident. It all depends." "Depends on what?" "On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

I took the unfinished boat for a paddle yesterday as it is sitting right beside the water anyway. I noticed that the epoxy finish, which is several days cured already, has turned white on contact with water. It is fresh water. Is this something expected? Gladly I plan to paint the boat but if it was going to be a varnish finish I think it would be disasterous. Is this indicating a more serious problem ?
These pics were taken before canoe was fully finished with breasthooks. A 40lbs thrust trolling motor makes for a bit of backup if heading offshore. Floats were purchased online here in Thailand and dramatically improve stability, especially when launching in the sea as opposed to lake. With the floats, it is easy to stand up which will be useful when I get back out fishing. Also good for taking the family out.
