Mako 254 rebuild

Questions about boat repairs with our resins and fiberglass: hull patches, transoms and stringers, foam, rot etc.

Got some sanding and cutting done. Cant wait to start filling and priming. Cutting the cap off slowly but surely, been more difficult than i thought it would be. Definitely going to reuse the floor, not sure about the gunnel cap.

thanks fallguy. I am definitely saving all the uncored panels. Its the same with the floor and the gunnel cap. There is so much woven glass in every inch of this boat its crazy. There are parts of the floor that are 1/2" solid glass. Im also curious to what I will find in the rest of the floor coring, everything I have seen so far has been 1" foam core?

You can reuse a lot of that stuff.
