Questions about boat repairs with our resins and fiberglass: hull patches, transoms and stringers, foam, rot etc.

So glassing in the transom and bedding and tabbing the stringers tomorrow. ? On securing the deck to the cross members. Can I use the better exterior screws or do they have to be SS?? Also, glassing the bottom of the deck? Or total epoxy saturation??

I would glue stuff together, no screws they will cause problems down the road.
I would lay a thin layer of glass over things. I do not think it takes much more resin to do it than three coats of neat do.

So planning on setting the stringers tomorrow. We’ve cut all the old glass away, ground it all out with 36 grit disks, sanded a foot out on either side of them. Need to clean with acetone and will be ready to set. Now come the ??? Bedding them or not? If I do use 1/4” foam pieces under to prevent hard spots?? If I bed them do I still glue the deck down with peanut butter?? Just want to get this right!!! THANKS!
