I like it. How is it secured? I usually see a big round mounting plate on these.

I laid up a round tube that is glassed in under the deck. Little cleaner. I didn’t have enough space for plate but like this look better anyway.

Looks fast to me. I've been reading in Professional Boat Builder that the Bertrams were always designed for speed. I guess the 31 (Moppie) won a race to Nassua.

What is professional boat builder rick? A site or book?

That video was between 35 and 40. She gets to 50. Tower does drag it down but it is plenty fast for me

It is a magazine for the Pro boat builder industry that you can subscribe to. Usually really good info in the magazine and I learn something from each issue. When you tell them you have been converting Berts they should approve you. I got approved because of my website for classic Aquasports and the rebuilds we do on the site. Took a little while and then the magazines started showing up.
