So I was fishing in the strait of Juan del Fueco, between the Olympic Peninsula and Puegot Sound two years ago in February, snow flurries as we ran in, quartering into 5 to 6 foot breakers. Only thing that saved us was the full cabin on the 18 foot boat we were in. Got it. Weather and water can suck.

All I'm saying is this boat has a VERY sexy set of lines as an open boat. All of you are right. We are spoiled down here.

Finish her, bring her down to Florida, and I'll build a shed you can park her under until you find that vacation house you talked about :D

Or put a nice cover on and we'll come up and fish there.

How about we do both? Finish this thing and bring it south and leave something to fish up here. Now that there is my dream :D

Google Parker boats. They have nice enclosed cabins on small boats.
I think something like this would work for you...

This is a 21' boat. Ignore the girl on the swim platform, it's the only pic of the boat I could find

These FL and SC guys have never experienced the morning run at 39 degrees.

You sure about that?
I have fished the GOM for over 50 years.
I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times I have run offshore in very cold conditions.

Those Parkers would make good fishing boats for this part of the world. Being an east coast boat we do not see too mkany of them around here but the ones I have seen look nice.
As for the girl................I am a male the only way I could ignore her would be if my heart stopped beating
