CT 22 information

Post by MO Mark » Wed Sep 12, 2018 11:55 am

Okay, before I try 55 pages on this forum searching for information on the Cat 22 (CT 22), has anyone built this boat? Can the boat be scaled longer? I would really appreciate any information on this build or even a direction to go in to find more information. Thanks, Mark.

MO MARK, I know one was built some time ago somewhere in the Bahamas. We never did receive reasonable photos of the build either!! Regarding scaling the boat, please wait for Jacques response!! Welcome to the Builders Forum!! Jeff

There is a PC22 in the Exumas but not a CT22, sorry.
We sold a good number of plans but I don't know about any boat completed. Only a small number of builders post on the forum.

And wider and taller...

How tall is the CT22, anyway?

From keel to top of gunwale/coaming, from sole to top of gunwale/inwale/coaming, and freeboard? I can't find that information anywhere for any of the plans, which I feel should be present. But maybe that's just me. :)

Those are called 'depths'.

Right, thanks. I barely know what things are called in Norwegian nautical terms, let alone English...

Still, the depths are not listed on the plans, and I think that would be a useful addition to the study plans. Makes for easier comparisons of similar plans, if nothing else.
