Yes Michael, keep practicing and one day you will be able to glass as cleanly as that.

It's 0.0 gsm double bias tape - hard to come by!

Still lurking around mate, no boat building though. I am nearly ready to start again :)

Having two kids under the age of 3 really leaves no time, and when I do have a little bit of time I don't have the energy to hit the shed (because that is usually after 8pm at night). On top of all that I have been working a second job to get my marine qualifications, but I have finished the "Master" component now, so I can drive boats up to 24m within 100NM of the coast and I am starting my Engineering course next week, so after that I will duel ticketed as a Master/Engineer. Then I will have two good tickets and I can start to look for jobs to change this career of mine. So it has been a really busy year, but is well worth it.

I will be starting work on the boat soon, I nearly did a night last week ;)
I want to have it flipped back over before the wet so I can finish the strakes and fairing.

In the mean time I just perve on all the boats in here.

Keep it up mate.

Cheers

I have come to that part of the build that might be called "The lasts"!

I have cut my LAST piece of wood.

I have poured my LAST bit of foam (in a section of the cockpit side).

Got a lot of foam squashed into this boat.

And I think I am gonna claim a Bateau record for chase tubes! I have 46 of them running to various places around this boat.

Holy moly. I think I have 4 chase tubes  I'm feeling alittle inadequate at the moment  Looks fantastic. Starts getting fun when you are on the "lasts."
