Lee, the link to you tube isn't working, at least for me.

You're too quick for me Michael, it should be up now (its public)!

Yep, it's working now. When you first posted a couple of days ago, I assumed that the rubber moulding had parted from the plastic base. But it looks as though the base parted from the hull?

No Michael, the rubber moulding has rolled off the plastic base - I assume forced off by the pressure of the water.

Not sure what I'm going to do now. I think I will replace it with one where the moulding is fixed to the hull with the screws covered by an insert.

Not happy! The Tessilmare wasn't cheap.

That's pretty pathetic performance by the Tessilmare. Hopefully they'll replace it with another one of their products that can be irect screwed to the hull with a cover strip, free of charge.

On a brighter note, the video camera setup is brilliant! :D

Haha, yes that is one of five cameras on the boat for fishing.

I think a run up the Noosa R with that camera running will be kind of cool for the guys on here.

To answer your earlier question, the new trailer performed brilliantly. Believe me, a 4000 km round trip to the gulf will find the weak points in any of your equipment - tow vehicle, boat, trailer, motor or fishing gear!

We stopped along the road and tried to help a number of crews who's gear just wasn't up to the challenge!

I worked out this morning that I have towed the boat about 4500 miles since picking it up on its new trailer a bit over a month ago! :D

Most recently about 900 miles from home (Townsville) to Brisbane in preparation for the voyage of discovery up the Noosa R with Michael Glossie next Tuesday.

I am really looking forward to it!

If a trailer holds up to your use it must be a darn good one :!:
Looking forward to pictures/video from your trip to Noosa. It is good to see a guy fully enjoying his retirement
