Got the left side inwale installed and dry fit the right side. I used 1"x2" douglas fir cut to 3" long pieces and a 2" x 0.5" piece of teak. I epoxied the doug fir pieces to the inside of the hull and screwed the teak to them. I countersunk the screw heads so there's nothing sticking out to catch line on.

Still some trimming to do but there's a lot of sanding/cleanup that needs to be done all over the boat.

Lots of grinding and sanding this weekend, lots of fun but it was worth it. I ground down the rubrail all around getting rid of different heights and sharp spots. Ground the spray rails down as well to get them cleaned up. I coated everything with epoxy and will be varnishing later on. The inwales are mounted as well as the bow/stern cleats and pre-made rod holder. Goal is to get the boat ready for primer this weekend.

Also cut the bow down, in my opinion it looks better flush than with a raised peak.

Thanks!

I recessed the hinges into the hatch and surrounding seat top, will then through bolt the hinges, cut a relief slot under the hatch lip for the hinge mounting bolts on the hatch then start working on gutters. The plan is to not make it watertight but at least hopefully water resistant.

Worked on the center hatch and gutters last night. There is a lot of trimming and sanding left to do but I'm happy so far with how it's looking. The flash really brings out a lot of ugliness but it's still a work in progress.

I was able to get the wiring done and more work on the center seat. I still have a few smaller LEDs to light the deck but I'm not sure where I want to put those yet. The bow lights are very bright for how small they are.

Wow! I love the bow lights. Where did you get those? They would totally disappear on my boat ..until night time!!! 8)

Thanks! I bought them on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CR ... UTF8&psc=1

Things I like about them are the aluminum housing, flat mounting surface, two threaded collars to hold them on so no tools required and there's a few feet of wire so should work for almost any setup. They mark them with a piece of red or green heat shrink which is nice because with them being LED you have to power them to see the colors.

I was able to get tinted epoxy put down in the hatches last night, it doesn't look as good as paint but I like the idea of it basically being indestructible.
