Thanks! Next boat I wont do white...need sunglasses with that glare! Debating a poling platform for it...it was easy enough beside the motor but love the way they look.

Great looking skiff. Without motor, 250 plus?

Can't wait to feel the same on my FS14!
Home built boats, get their personality from the builder... My boat is NUTS!!! FS14, getting wet soon.... Next build; LM18 (Laguna Madre Skiff 18). This is a beautiful designed boat.

Thanks! The motor comes out to 105lbs. Using Meranti vs Okume and doing full glass got me to 350ish without the motor.
Finally got it all in order and numbered.

Took the boat out for a spin with a friend to do some final tests. in light chop we hit 33mph with an estimated 900lbs worth of boat and people. Pretty much right on the estimate for that weight and hp combo! Got into some choppy conditions on the banana river and it cut right through it.

Here is a quick video. Enjoy!

Yeah that 2 stoke is nice! only weighs 105lbs. I had just rebuilt the carbs and changed the plugs. WOT hit 33, but backed down to about 75% was 25-28mph. We werent close to max weight and I didnt have the cooler with ice or all the fishing gear on board. My friend is not too heavy either. Got it registered and taken care of. It was just at a month before I got the packet back from FWC in the mail.
