Mom is recovering well after her fall, broke her hip (87 years old), it's been about a month plus now. Sister has been a great help staying with her. I go over after work and staying the weekends, so Kim can breathe a little. I'm a block away, Kim's house is in Miami (it's for sale,
https://www.realtor.com/realestateandho ... 4802-49068).

Going to finish deck frames/supports, but not install deck. I want to flip the boat and finish the hull first. Going with bright Yellow on the hull!! Graphite/epoxy (black) on bottom. The White HBN mix, I had planned on doing would cost too much to do.

Still, it is way too hot in the carport to work... 7 am it's 87*.
Good to hear your mom is recovering well. It is not an easy thing when we have to take care of our aging parents. Your sisters home is beautiful, especially the back pool area. If that was mine It'd be hard to leave. Your build is looking really good. The yellow will look really nice. What paint brand are you going with?

Thank you, Mom's an old farm girl from Minnesota! They heal quick and strong..

Sister's home is from the 50's, they paid under 200,000 (25 years ago?) for it I think. The people who buy it will knock it down and build a bigger house, 0 lot lines nowadays! Miami suck now days!!!

Looks like I will be able to work on the boat this weekend..... :D :D

Will finish installing the gunwales and add another layer of .25" x 1.50" pine lattice for the rub rail.

Well, another weekend shot! Too many things to do and no time to build!!!

The rain here (DeLand, Cantal Florida), has cooled things down a bit....

Hopefully next weekend the deck goes on....
