Thanks Fuzz and OQ. I took a look at the boat after 3 days. I thought it was ready for paint, but after a close inspection found some minor imperfections. Even though wife told me she couldn’t see them unless she got really close to them, I went ahead and fixed them.
Fairing can be an obsessive thing

, when one just lets go and move on

I understand about the finish. I always say I am going for work boat finish and then let every little blemish bug me.

Today got the second coat of paint on the bottom. Using Interlux perfection, roll and tip. This is the first time doing this method and I'm pleased with the results.
How long should I wait to flip the boat after painting?

Excellent work! I always give the paint a week to harden as it will sit with constant pressure in the same spots. It is soft for a while after cure. My experience however is with urathanes like alexseal

Looks great!
How do you keep your floor so shiny? As you saw my carport, you can see the boat outlines on the floor, 4 so far!
Keep up the great work.

Thanks Jeff, Daytrip, Capt UB. I did the first coat yesterday and today for the second coat the previous paint was hard. I elected not to sand in between as the instruction says if less than a day old sanding is not required. Both coats only took 12oz. of paint. Added the reducer bit by bit, testing in between using a brush on a piece of smooth tile. Stopped putting the reducer when the paint flowed nice and the brush strokes disappeared by themselves.
Hope I did it right, it looks nice though.
