Thanks guys! I just looked up BBC’s filler of microballoons and silica fairing mix. Comes in 1/2 lb increments. Do you think one pound is enough additive to fill the weave of this build?

One pound is probably more than you need but I would go ahead and get that much. It is cheap and you might use it other places.
Your first pass mix it loose so it fills the weave well. After that you can mix it to taste.

Morning fellas...appreciate the comments.
I just ordered one pound of the blended filler from BBC and added the 3M Hookit fairing board and paper while I was at it.
I am sure it will come in handy. Will plan to sand off the gloss next Saturday, fill the weave and get the surface as fair as possible.

Looking very nice. Now the real fun starts!

As you are sanding think about the next build....

By the way, is that real grass on your lawn? That is some healthy grass, you must love mowing!

Made some progress today sanding down the gloss on the hull and coating the weave with BBC's blended filler. Thanks to Reid and Jeff for getting it out in time for me to work today! I think it turned out ok but I did expect the weave to fill more than it did. I even went around the hull twice and used a gallon of resin along with 1lb of filler.
Maybe I was too neat or too loose and should have slapped it on heavy instead? Not sure. I filled it with two light coats. First one at 9:00 am and the second at 2:30pm. My gut tells me it will be fine next weekend when I sand down the highs. I am planning on using Quick Fair the rest of the way next weekend if I have time. My middle boy is graduating HS on Sunday and I have my in-laws coming up from Florida Saturday morning so my guess is I will get very little done next weekend. Here are some pics of my progress... these are after my first pass, the 2nd pass pics aren't that much different:
