Made some progress before a work trip. When I get back I will be gluing up the seems.

I plan on getting the outside glassed up this weekend. Here is where I'm at. I need to learn some tricks of the trade from Capt ub as his glass is neat and mine is a mess. I guess it is part of the learning process. I'm planning for a better job on the inside, and dealing with hours of fairing on the outside.

Peel ply
Masking tapes lifted on the drip side.

Pull tapes after gel time plus a bit.
Acetone wipe drips at the end.

I finished the glass schedule on the bottom. I started fairing a small section to make sure I was doing it correctly. After the holiday weekend I'll be back at it. Based on the plan there are 2 strips on the bottom with one ply of fiberglass. I decided to fill that in with more fiber glass. It was that or a bunch of fairing to bring it level. I also made a cool flexi le sander, I'll post those pics in my next post.
