Back again, I completed glassing the bottom panels this weekend. Was a big job but am glad it is now done.

I did the two bottom panels together and slowly worked my back to the transom. I had to start the day sanding the panel overlap, then once cleaned up I could begin mixing the epoxy. Saturday was about 2 hours sanding and 8 hours with the epoxy. I had a two hour stop in the middle. Finished 1:30 am sunday morning, and then got up and filled all the weave which was another 3.5 hours. So here are the results.

I have moved the http://stitchandglue.hobby-site.com site to http://cx19.blogspot.com so some of the older posts will have broken links until I can go back and and fix them.

Cheers,
Gerry

:D me too, I can start doing the fun plumbing stuff now :P

I went back through and updated as many image and url links as I could and pointed to the new site.

Looks like a lot of the images were broken from the last forum and image gallery migration, I did not notice before, but other topics I did notice missing images and wondered why? now I know, so they should appear correctly now.

The next task is putting in the bow eye so I can tow the boat to our next home. Hopefully should get the time over easter to finish that and then I can start putting the stringers and frames in.

Cheers,
Gerry

Although it is not me building the boat now it will be finished by the end of the year. It has been a long journey, but it will be worth the wait.

Just a quick update for the CX19. The first coats of color are now on.

The fit out will be next and just finalizing the details of what is going in first to be able to get on the water. What a journey but it has turned amazing so far.
