I found your post when you were looking for a rig and it looks like you haven't posted on this string for awhile.
If you have some recent photos of your progress, please post, I'd like to see them. :D

I added a mahogany trim piece on the transom and have been drilling holes for hardware the last couple of week ends.Image

I still need to locate and place the holes for rudder fittings on transom. The rudder is glassed, so I need to sand, fill weave, fair and prime. It seems that I will have to raise the boat higher, so I can position rudder to place the hardware.

Great stuff. This is a really fun part of the build--conceptualizing and installing the rig and hardware.

Thanks Tony and Bogie,

It seems like every time I get started something comes up to distract me and week-ends are to short. I hope to see this in
the water before much longer.

Rick,
The VG20 is a rather large undertaking. I really wanted to build the VG18 or VG20 but the reality is I'll probably never own a vehicle big enough to pull one :( . So instead I started building the AD16 a few months ago in my back yard. I like the Adelie but have to admit I'm a bit envious of those of you building the Vagabonds.

Got sidelined for a while, my better half decided it was time to paint the inside of the house. So what ever the boss says goes.
Well I don't know if I'm jumping the gun, but decided to install the keel.
I got a couple of hoists rigged on both ends of boat and raised the boat enough to insert the trunk and keel into place.

I wanted to finish the inside, so I taped and have started to fill the weave and begin fairing.
