Uh oh... I just ordered V12 plans ...

It might not mean anything yet... but I now have one less excuse. :)

You've opened pandora's box! Once those plans are looking at you everyday it'll be everything you can do not to build her :D

I already have quite a few ideas, concerning two or three mods that would make her unique, and still very recognizably a V12, as seen from the side and bow on. Water surfaces remain unchanged. Sheer unchanged. But I've got lots of plates spinning now, so this won't be starting at least until a shed is built.

I figured a new thread and a set of plans would help keep the sketches coming on the napkins. No wood to cut for awhile yet.

That's good news ks8. I went to the study plans after hearing. It would be great to see you build another boat. You have to tell us what kind of mods you are dreaming up.

A fully enclosed cabin? Kidding, but what do you mean?

why be working on 49 projects at once, when it can be 50?

however, I do have a sense that with this one, I'm at my personal limit...

I may put a high sole (/deck?) in it instead of seats, and some small deep foot wells... 'very' open transom... wet ride for the summer heat. We'll see...

Got the plans today at 2pm and will be scanning them in to have some fun over the next few weeks... all sorts of potential with this one, but the goal is to make any change as simple as possible to build and service. No mirror finish on this.... if this happens soon it will be built to be used hard as a beach boat. ... in theory... :)

That can be a good looking mod. Are you going to build for oars or motor?
Where will you sit? Removable seats? kayak seats?
