Nice touch Bogie!

Thank you George and OQ! White netting would probably look better but this particular model was a perfect fit. Function is more important to me than form- always will be

Tires:

One of my trailer tires kept going flat and it was a bit dry rotted so I went ahead and bought another set of tires on rims. I will use the good "old" tire as a spare.

Sail: I plan to have BBC's sail maker do my sail, but since I can't afford the real sail right now I plan to create a polytarp version of the modified Chinese lug sail that's in the plans- reefing points/ battens/ everything. I think it's very doable

In the third world they use anything they can, like tarps and old bed sheets.

Yes! See, that's exactly why I know my plan will work

Got her name on the boat. Also made the necessary adjustments and improvements to the trailer and that allowed me to move her forward several more feet. Trailer also has new tires and rims. I still have some work to do on the trailer.

I tried to say something but God thought I was wrong and filled my mouth with saltwater. I kept my pie hole shut after that.

She said she just wanted to sail and didn’t want to be tied down but I installed the cleats anyway

And I need to move the axel forward several feet to reduce tongue weight. PITB But it’s getting there
