Finally got the trailer where it needs to be by moving the axle forward several feet and making a few other adjustments . We also welded the fenders back on . She sits on the trailer much nicer now and with a little effort I can lift the tongue off the ground by myself. Still have to add several hundred pounds of Lead Ballast and that will change things a bit but it’s the best I can do for now. The last thing I need to do to the trailer is to install some L brackets towards the rear that I can attach PVC pipes to for guiding.

The cushions are finished and installed in the cabin.

I now have the title and registration which arrive today. I have the stickers and was hoping to get them on today but by the time we were finished monkeying around with the trailer I was beat. It’s supposed to rain for the next three days but I will post pics of the cushions and the numbers on the boat as soon as I can

Hi Tony! I’m so excited I almost can’t stand it! It’s probably going to be another week or two. I will definitely take pictures of the christening and Maiden motoring trip

There was no part of the process, even sanding, that I didn't really enjoy. But the launch day is something special for sure.

Make sure you practice social distancing when you launch. That boat will draw the crowds!
"that it isn't just an ordinary sort of boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes it's more of an Accident. It all depends." "Depends on what?" "On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

It's hard to believe how fast you did this, unless I can't remember how long it's been. When did you buy the plans?

Hi Bogie,
The boat looks beautiful and I hold thumbs for the launching. Can you also take a photo of the L brackets towards the rear when installed where You will attach PVC pipes for guiding. I still have to do this on my trailer because my present solution is rather poor. I screwed a flower box window sill holder to the side of the trailers rear and then the PVC pipe to it. It is so flimsy that is why I want to see how you do it and then I copy it.
Greetings from Karl

Hi Tony! I started to build in February 2018, but I bought the plans about six months before that
