Looks good on the trailer :!: I bet you were pumped when it was all loaded.
Hi Fuzz!
Yes! I had it on and off the trailer three times in my effort to adjust bunks, rollers and winch etc. I had hoped to get more of her on the trailer but the keel shoe makes it impossible unless I completely redo everything. Anyway, 3/4 of her is on so it'll work. She looks BIIIIIGGGGG now!

ps....she is too far back on the trailer; you have probably negative tongue weight and that is not good... I'd want a couple more feet on..

ou might want to raise the bunks a few inches so you can get it a few feet more forward on the trailer once you pull it for a few miles you will figer that out not to big a job just jack the boat up a bit and block it up then weld in the raisers for the bunks into place.

Thank you, George! Yes, some adjustments need to me made and I will do them eventually but for now it should be enough to get me into the water for a season.

It's been raining for three straight days so no boat work this week. Next week is probably shot too because I've been subpoenaed for jury duty at the circuit court.

So I'm still working on procuring the rest of my rigging etc. Yesterday I contacted a company called "DSI" in Florence, South Carolina (about 1 hour from here) and was finally able to find my boom! They are willing to sell me 1 24' length of round aluminum pipe (6061-T52) 1 1/2" diameter .065 wall thickness for $40.00! The boom needs to be 12'6" long and DSI charges only $1 to make the cut. I also found a place to purchase several yards of gray outdoor fabric for the cushions in the cabin.

It is cold and rainy here in Houston so I feel your pain. Not that I am doing building boat stuff. :(
