Been working on rudder and tiller assembly. Need one more pintle and gudgeon at the bottom. I will attach it to the skeg because I don’t want to drill into a water tight portion of the boat . Had to dig a hole in Oder for the rudder to fit without lifting the boat.

How are you planning to attach the gudgeon to the skeg?

Hi Tony!
I’m planning to bend it around the skeg then drill through - slather with 5200 - secure with ss through bolts and lock nuts/ washer.

Look for a sketch grudgeon. They make them. They look just like the pintles.

Actuality called “rudder gudgeon” but mount to skeg. https://www.rigrite.com/Hardware/Rudder ... 20Gudgeons

I tried to say something but God thought I was wrong and filled my mouth with saltwater. I kept my pie hole shut after that.

I ordered a pintle and gudegeon from West Marine's outlet store, some of these may work for you:

Rudder and tiller installation complete. A little chafing at the connection but it will be easy to remedy

And I painted the shed to match the house
