Did you precoat/prime the second layup? These may be spots where there was not enough epoxy.

Now you mention it, there’s a probability of that, next time I’ll be more cautious, now I will apply a cost of thickened epoxy and try to cover those spots where fiberglass is missing, there are about 4 spaces of 2 inches long per 1 inch tall near the edge of the sides, next to the rub rails and some very small blisters in the hull

Starting with the hull fairing, I’m using micro balloons of polyester to thicken the epoxy and fairing the hull, this is the first hand of this

Looking good! That's a lot wider rubrail than I was thinking of using. What are the measurements of it and what type of wood did you use? It looks nice!

I find this https://www.homedepot.com/p/Alexandria- ... /205917012 and I like the shape, so I used, as the curve to follow demands curving in two ways cut this moulding in one foot segments, and start glueing from front to back, near the transom I can use two and a half foot segment because the side of the boat is straight. Now I’m planing in cover it with two or three hands of epoxy / graphite, there’s a lathe work shop near my home where they work with graphite for automotive industry and the dust that they discard is very fine dust, so I get for free a pound of it

Second hand of fairing ready, tomorrow I’ll sand with 120 grain and hopefully start painting on Friday
