C21 hull sides

I am looking to build a C21 am not to sure as to whether the hull sides overlap it doesn't seem to indicate this on the plans but talks about it in the building notes

They overlap. It is visible on drawing B226/8.
The side panels dimensions include the overlap, there is nothing to calculate or draw.
Follow the building sequence: install the first panel and follow with the second one. It will overlap by 6". It will fit only one way, you can't go wrong.

I am happy that Jeff and his crew took over the supplies side. I have all the time I need now to focus on designs instead of having to handle damaged shipments, bookkeeping and taxes.

You are right. Once upon a time, there was somebody trying to fit the bow end of a side panel on the stern. Or builders who the butt blocks on the outside. We had a good number of those.

My “personal best” was angle grinder and 34gr fla disk to smooth a puzzle joint. Thank god for wood flower and epoxy!

:doh: What you talking about. I just order my wood flour 10 pounds at a time so the boys have something to fill the packages with :lol:
