Looks great!

Put painters tape around the edge of the frames. They will not get glued to the hull as you build!
One of the few things (good), I learned from my Chalmette 14 build.

It looks like the panels were cut a little too short. That can be fixed with fiberglass without cutting the bow mold.
If the mold is already cut, focus on a creating a nice curve.

First round of glue tonight. I used the cut bow mold after covering with painters tape and plastic to just pile on the material. I guess that should work ok

I don’t see a thing wrong with what you have done. If there is a problem with over filling gaps with epoxy/wood glue and sanding it to shape then I am in a world of hurt

You're doing an excellent job so far, and as Fuzz already said, nothing wrong with a little filler, or a lot of filler. All gets sanded and glassed over anyway. Build on.

Went out this morning before work and cut everything off and filled more. Spent all day Wednesday putting those ties in and in 20 minutes cut them all right back out. Something just didn't seem right about that. Going to sand smooth tonight and will probably need to fair rounded chine more then sand again but hopefully tape tommorow morning and glass tommorow evening or Sunday afternoon

John,

The bow curve is coming together nicely! Looks like you have a lot of sanding in your future but I also see a helper that looks like he really wants to learn how to sand!!!
