Puget Sound Bateau Rendezvous (sp??!)
Re: Puget Sound Bateau Rendezvous (sp??!)
Does Sunday, Sept 25 work then? And what is everyone bringing? I donated the canoes to the Boy Scouts so all I have right now is a partially-painted PK78. I will probably have a poster board version of the CK17 done by then, though. I can make it over to Kitsap if there's going to be a DE25 there.

If we are in the country, I'll bring Cloud Cap over.

Wow! I'd pretty much given up on this idea and stopped checking the thread. So what I'm reading is that there are 4 of us. Me, Rick, "Spokaloo" (Eric?), and P.J. Are there firm committments from you for Sunday 9/25? If so I will check with the Port manager and reserve a spot for a bbq maybe some moorage if you want it. There are also places on a lawn to show your boats while on a trailer. Being a pretty small gathering it'll be pretty informal but its always fun to look at boats. I'm happy to put my 25 in the water and maybe take ya'll for a spin. If it's Sunday, will folks need to be heading home (like Spokane) fairly early? Eric, why don't you set the time table? How about you send your email addresses to me at
dssours at comcast dot net and we can "talk" more directly.

I am on shift Sunday the 25th, any other days work for you gentlemen? I would be happy to put Cloud Cap on the trailer and head over the hill, though you will see her in her "fall colors" at that point (paint's in rough shape, she's been in the weather for several months, etc).
Are there other days that work for everyone? Are weekdays out? Honestly, I could be over there for a Friday the 23rd event, but I'd have to be headed home Saturday at noon.

Still waiting for a better day. With only 4 of us, it makes sense for all of us to be available. How 'bout each of you give 3 days for options and hopefully there'll be an over lap. I'm happy to show off my DE 25 anytime someone wants to come over. But for an "event" lets try to land on a day.--DS

Been there, done that, feel the pain. Someone suggested to me to put out a date you'd be there and maybe others would join in (if not you still get to go fishing). Hope yall get it sorted out and have a blast.Spokaloo wrote:Well this worked out swimmingly, didn't it...

I'd still like to get together. I'm available Thursday - Sunday. We don't need a ton of room with only 4 people, apparently in Washington State. Port of Brownsville is a wonderful 'venue". Google it. How about during the boat show in January?? People coming over for that? We just need to land on a day.--DS
