I'm sorry too John. If you find time later come on over and check out the build. That cambered roof support you help me fit last time is long in and worked just fine.

See you when Dougster

The last few offshore trips that I've been on, I wish the seas were that small

You've got Bateau boats, go fishing and have fun :D

It's not the boats that worry me, it is the cleanliness of the insides once I've been in 4 footers for a few hours.

Besides, I wanted to be the first nut that ever ran an OB15 into the gulf off Texas, and that would be way too exciting in 3-4 footers. It'd be exciting enough in 1 foot seas.

I think what we are going to see is choppy seas due to the on-shore flow but the primary wave height will not be that bad. Only way to know for sure is to head to the inlet an see if we can get through there. Going to be optimistic and have a plan B.

I'm hoping to fish the inlet. Not sure my father will be up to it if it's too rough so will have to have a plan B. I, on the other hand, am anxious to see how the OB19 does in the slop.

My folks waited to tomorrow to leave, so we'll be heading out at 8am. Probably won't be in before 5pm. :( I'll keep up on the thread as I close in to see what's going on. Is the wait for the Ferry usually long on Friday afternoons?

I don't know for sure about the ferry wait. Two weeks ago they had 6 ferries running. If you haven't crossed there in a while the state has upgraded the fleet. They have a lot more capacity compared to even last year.
