The purpose off this poll was to determine were to held the Southeastern Boat Builders Meet 2013 somewhere in June/July, well that was my intention.
In my opinion splitting up won't do this meeting any good, this would result in 2 small groups of people at 2 different meets, I think the bigger the group the more boats will attend, the more ideas will be shared and off course the bigger the fun, not to mention any group discounts that we might get here and there.
Don't get me wrong 2 meets is fun but I think this should be done somewhere later into the year

So I think this poll should go back to the choice between the given options please correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree, "other" should be other, not both.

We actually had two meets in Florida in 2009. While the first, bigger event at CR was a lot of fun...the second meet at Boca was even better 8)
BTW, the Innlet motel at Boca is also a perfect model for an ideal meet location IMHO

That's a perfect facility for our needs.

When location options were given, I really thought Boca Grande would have been a better option based on past history of others there, facilities, fishing options. If most want to got to Boca grande, my vote would change to that location: as long as it is not in April or vaery early May. We just foud out our daughter and her husband are going to have their 3rd child about them Wife says no chance of trip during that time period for obvious reasons. Has been many years since we've been able to attend. really looking forward to seeing everyone and those I've never met. John

Boca is awesome but it pretty much limits the meet to everyone that lives east of Alabama. It's 1300 miles from Oklahoma, I think you would get a larger turnout if the event was held closer to the panhandle. Just my opinion!!!

Boca is okay for me also, although it's about 1500 miles  Pensacola would be 1900 miles no problems either 8)

I like awesome :D And nobody is limited. Last year we had our meet in the Keys, and people came from Colorado and Texas and Tennessee and Curacao and Georgia and other places. Prairie Dog's FIL pulled a boat from Texas, and Mad Dog drove a camper from Texas. Will flew down from DC. We have quite a few from the NE also. Joe usually comes from Michigan and John from Illinois, and others. Since I've been going to the meets in the last 6 years, we usually have a turn out of between 40 and 70 people, that ain't too bad I think :D

Those folks in Puget Sound can't seem to get 3 people together for lunch, but we do OK down here for turnout

Everglades City/Chokoloskee would be a great place for a meet. I would make the trip for that.
