Hi,
Made it back to Austria in one piece and I must thank all of you in Homosassa for a beautiful boat builders meet. I enjoyed every minute of it and I was looking and talking boats all the time and this is why I managed to take hardly any pictures although I bought myself a new camera before the trip. You can see the pictures in my gallery but being as bad a camera man as a boatbuilder I forgot to make pictures of the boats that were there. At least I got 4 squirrels on a power line or tree rats as Craig called them.

But I will remember the lovely moments on Johns boat downriver and Richards trip upriver to see Manatees which we did ( a mother with the young one breathing ) and the biggest fish I have seen in real life a Tarpon I think Richard called it.
Thanks again to all of you for a wonderful 70th birthday experience with the strongest beer I think I ever had.
When I came back my sister surprised me with a birthday cake of the special sort because it contains a picture of the Adelie 14 I am building which I show you here:

I know it is not half as beautiful as the Appalachian mountains which doc Dyer posted but I like it because of my boat to be finished is on it.
Greetings from Karl

Hi Karl, I really enjoyed meeting you, and am glad you returned home safely. And, Happy Birthday to you also, and what a wonderful birthday cake. Excellent pictures you took of Craig's boat, obviously a better camera than everyone's phone cameras. I think you should be the official team photographer for the next meeting. Hope you'll be able to make the long journey next year. Mike

Well we just returned home from our little road trip around the south-east US. Had a great time at the meet. If I tried to name everyone I would miss somebody so I will say I enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you. It is truly a great group of folks here on this site :!: If any of you ever get to this part of the world please let me know and stop by for a visit.

I did not take enough pictures but I do have a few. Here is SeaSlugs beautiful FS-18Image
