Started my SK14 back in July. First time on the water today.

Thanks Jeff,
With my wife sitting on the heavy cooler and less than 3/4 throttle we clocked 17.3 mph by gps. The motor is not fully broken in yet.
Didn't look at the speed with just me on board. Feels faster.

She is very stable for such a small boat but 3/4 throttle feels plenty fast for an old guy.

Yes almost 18mph does feel fast. I bet a 5 or 6hp would be plenty for this boat but it's nice knowing I have more if needed.
