Beautiful. The nicest GF16 I have seen.
I designed her as an utilitarian jon boat but you turned her in super nice, good looking flats and general purpose boat.

Beautiful boat! This is a next level Jon boat and looks to be a fishing machine!
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

Thanks Jim and Jacques. It talks the talk, time will tell if it walks the walk. :D

Jacques, it is a wonderful old school looking design that performs very well. Thank you for that. Its hard to see it in the pictures, but with the satin finish, it still has that utilitarian, almost old school hot rod look to it, which I love. I know I sound like a weirdo... I would haul it up to the shop one day but every time I've been up the you and Joel are gone. I would like to see that GF16X you're building in foam sandwich to.

Thanks again,
Gary

WOW!! What a nice build! 8) You really did one fine job. I've not seen anything that would be comparable. I really like her old school looks. Best looking GF16 I've ever seen. Enjoy. John

Nice job, looks great. I've read through your build and it's helped me out a lot. Now get some blood on those decks!
