Will, so sorry i missed your launch, crazy on the home front!
Having the little minions crawl all over the boat, squeal when they get splashed, and the smile on their faces when I let them drive; I really am a lucky person
Gotta love it, she looks great.

Will, your boat looks like a really nice job, well done. I just hope that mine turns out half as well, I haven't mastered the art of posting pictures of my build but hopefully I will be able to show the finished product soon, it doesn't have any "boat candy" except fish finder, only fitted what is necessary so that if things go wrong where we fish (well off the beaten track) the trip won't be spoilt I would like to see some more pictures of your build.
Congrats again.
Dave

Really sorry I missed this Will. Launching your own home made boat is a pretty special thing 8) Only problem is people won't believe you when you tell them you built it from scratch. Very cool 8)

Thanks guys.

She's been great so far. Runs like a missle. I need to get off my wallet and prop it better though. Last time out I noticed that it is capable of surpassing the max recommended RPMs. I probably need to prop up, but goal #1 is to pay off student loans then I'll have more money to play with. For now, I just don't run WOT (and can still get well above 30mph 8) ).

The striper like the boat too... :D

This was the first time I got my dad in the boat. He was smiling and complimenting the boat the whole day. Then, he got to brag about this nice little 6-7 lb striper too 8)

Nothing like going fishing with Dad. Doing it in boat you built yourself-priceless :!:
Looks like Dad was having a good time.

I see you have a 50HP engine on boat.............

I am debating the size of outboard for my GV13 it is heavy and I am heavy!
I plan on remote steering and have beefed up the transom.

Would you consider a larger motor?
and
would a smaller motor do what you want?
