Fs17, June 2016, colonialc19, Daniel

Post by colonialc19 » Sun Jun 19, 2016 8:50 pm

Splashed my Fs17 for the first time today, no surprises (that's a good thing) , everything went well, still breaking in the motor so no real numbers on how it handles, but I'm very excited so far. Its been too dang long building this thing , I'm embarrassed to say how long, not even sure if I remember how to post a pic, but I will try.
Thanks to everyone on the forum, I'm just a dumb redneck and I could not have done this without everybody here :D

Hi,
Congratulations on splashing your beautiful boat. I see you have a paddle on board with which I splashed my FS13 two days ago.
I am sure your whole family is very proud of you for this achievement. I heard once that seven out of ten boats started are never finished. So dont worry that you took some time to build it. Have lots of fun with your boat.
Greetings from Karl ( Austria )

Great job, the color works really well on that hull. Looks like everyone on board was having a great time too.

Very nicely done. You'll get a lot of use from her.

Well ya beat me!!!! Congrats on the launch!! Boat looks awesome! I was making some headway and then baseball season got underway. Both boys really into it. Hoping to get back at it again soon now that it's wrapping up a bit. My goal is not to be one of the 7 out of 10 mentioned above! Congrats again!!
