I will say i am very happy with the way the boat handles, we rode her in some chop and boat wakes and she handled like she should no slamming, a nice sea motion. Great design Mr. M.. I do need to go up a pitch on the prop, i was at 27 knots and hitting the rev limiter with some throttle left, that's with 4 people and some gear.
Headed for the eastern shore of VA tues to target flounder, sheeps, spanish, and maybe a cobia, got my spear sharp and my dive flag as well, wish me luck.
Nice! She's beautiful. I guess that Honda (edit: Suzuki) has a little more grunt than my 50 TLDI; I get 27 knots as my top speed pretty much no matter the load.

Nice boat,

27 is good you can probably play with the prop and get low 30s WOT

Matt with TLDI what prop you running?

Hey, been a long time since I visited this forum. Running a 12" pitch Turning Point Hustler. 27 knots max with an average load (2 adults, fishing gear, ice, fuel, etc. 5800 RPM on the motor, trimmed out pretty far. Max load doesn't seem to change much, just a matter of how far I trim out to reach max RPM. It's a bit underpropped for a light load, but i'd rather have the carrying capacity and acceleration. I found 13" lugged too much, especially when keeping the motor trimmed in to keep the bow down as much as possible. Where I boat, I rarely get to use WOT due to sea conditions.
