Scale for VG26 scaled drawing?

Post by Laszlo » Tue Dec 31, 2013 9:26 am

I downloaded the PDF file but there's no scale indication on it. I'm trying to figure out how large a workspace and fixtures I'd need.

Happy New Year,

Laszlo

It depends on how you print but it's easy: boat length is 26', find a scaling unit from that.

Which dimension do you need?

The drawing says that the boat length is 27". Anyway, I was mostly interested in trying to work out what kind of building space I'd need, so height from bottom of keel shoe to top of cabin is what I needed. Looks like 8'4" based on the LOD of 25'.

Thanks,

Laszlo

At the highest point, 91". I would plan at least 96" for the door height. More is better.
