VG23 composting toilet

Is it possible to get a composting toilet to fit in a useable manner on the VG 23?

Those composting toilets are very high. Check the dimensions but I don't think it will fit.

C-Head now make a lower version as an option. We have been very pleased with our standard one, highly recommended. But of course the lower it is the less volume it holds. But we are using ours full time right now and haven't emptied it in 3 weeks

I looked that up. Do you have an external urine tank then?

Oops. I misread your post where you stated you have the standard unit. The short one requires an external tank. I may look into the possibility of making an acrylic custom tank for the short one. I see people make water tight custom acrylic fish tanks.

There is no doubt that they work and it is cleaner than a holding tank but in the VG23, the space between the vee berth is large enough for a Porta-Potti.

I would purchase a separator insert and then build my own to fit the space.
Separating the urine from the solids is the way to go imo.

Here are a couple options from one company.
